Established in 1975 and formerly known as Chateaux & Hotels Collection, LES COLLECTIONNEURS a notable association of nearly 700 privately owned properties throughout France and over its borders into Italy, Switzerland and Belgium. While each has its own character and personality, all share the same philosophy: charm, hospitality and respect for the cultural heritage that is unique to each region.

Under the direction of Alain Ducasse – one of the country’s foremost restaurateurs – since 1999, the spirit of LES COLLECTIONNEURS also known as the CHATEAUX & HOTELS COLLECTION is reflected throughout the wide variety of establishments whose common aim is to attain the highest standards of quality, comfort, service, décor and ‘cuisine de terroir’.

From Provence to Brittany, from Normandy to the Basque country, the member establishments range from relatively simple and rustic to deluxe properties and include converted mills, manor houses, abbeys and private castles – truly representative of every corner of France. The properties abroad in Italy, Switzerland and Belgium share the same attraction and character.
