Covid Insurance – Spain & Portugal
Travelling during and post pandemic has some visitors worrying about what might happen should they catch Covid during their travels. Luckily Covid & Medical insurances are provided free or at low cost in parts of Spain & Portugal.
Andalucia
Andalucia is offering free Covid insurance for international travellers staying at at regulated establishments between 1st January – 31st December 2021.
This insurance will cover Covid-related medical (up to 4000€), repatriation and quarantine costs.

Canary Islands
The Canary Islands are providing free Covid insurance via AXA which covers covid-related medical, quarantine and repatriation costs if travellers contract Covid-19 during their stay on the archipelago.

Portugal is offering a special nationwide Covid Insurance policy from 40€ per person which covers Covid-related medical, repatriation and quarantine costs.
